| Creating An Excel File For Electronic Acceptance Submission |
| The following message is a way in which acceptances may be moved from a table in Word to an Excel Spreadsheet. Step 1 - I typed in the acceptance listing (click to open in Word) - I did forget to put in the section - but here is the World file as word documnt for listings.doc - Send me both sample files Step 2 - I did a ctrl A to highlight the contents then a ctlr c to copy. I went to Excel and opened a new form. I went to the upper left hand cell and did a ctrl v to paste the whole Word document into the Excel document - Click to open in Excel Step 3 - You have a format in your catalog listing which did not fit what Tremaine Cornish is looking for so I added a column on the extreme left then highlighted and copied the country column and pasted into the new and blank column Step 4 - Because ULI organizes the Word tables by country, if she would go through this process she would have to the top country cell, grab the lower right corner and drag down to the bottom of the listings. Step 5 - If you are only looking for CPID acceptances, in the spreadsheet you would sort the section column and delete the rows which are not CPID. |
